MAC FTM 2017 - cannot get internet connection to

First: I created and have uploaded successfully my MAC GEDCOM from FTM2017 into using my Ancestry userid/pwsd via FireFox internet.

Second: stayed into Ancestry . Swapped back over to my Mac app "FTM2017", using Ancestory icon, log into successfully. Then, using the FTM2017 app and select "download from Ancestry..." this is the error message pop-up screen:

Family Tree Maker appears to be offline
- please check your internet connection and try again. For troubleshooting tips click the Learn More button.
<< the Learn More >> has no details related to FTM2017, it's all prior versions of FTM for MAC.

using MAC OS Sierra ver 10.12.6 and Internet provided is Firefox 55.0.3 (64-bit)

Thank you for any assistance that you can provide me with Mac FTM2017 making internet connection.
